New Delhi, ANI. Cases of corona infection are increasing rapidly in the capital Delhi. Meanwhile, a public interest litigation has been filed in the High Court seeking strict enforcement of lockdown in Delhi. The petitioner says that in view of the growing case of Corona, the government should be directed to strictly implement the lockdown here.Â
The petitioner has argued in the High Court that the Delhi government has feared that there may be five and a half million corona patients in July.
CM Kejriwal met Home Minister
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal met Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday amid Corona’s rapidly growing transition. After this meeting, Kejriwal tweeted that there was a detailed discussion with the Home Minister about the rising infection of Corona virus. He assured cooperation. At the same time, according to senior officials of Delhi, due to the way things are getting worse in Delhi, it can be decided to put a lockdown here again.

5.5 lakh corona patients to be available in Delhi by 31 July: Sisodia
Earlier on Tuesday, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia from Delhi expressed concern that by July 31, Corona may have five and a half million patients in Delhi. At that time, Delhi will need 80 thousand beds. After a meeting of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority at the residence of Lt. Governor Anil Baijal, he said that in the capital, corona cases are doubling in about 12 to 13 days. According to the data that has been presented now, by June 30, Corona patients will need 15,000 beds in Delhi. By July 15, 33 thousand and by 31 July 80 thousand beds will be needed.
At the same time, by June 15, there will be 44 thousand cases and about 6600 beds will be required. By June 30, one lakh cases will reach and about 15 thousand beds will be required. By July 15, 2 lakh cases will be done and 33 thousand beds will be needed, while by July 31, about 5.5 lakh cases will increase and for that about 80 thousand beds will be required.
