New Delhi: Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 2021: The central government has given very good news to those who buy cheap houses. The government has approved construction of 56368 new houses under PM Awas Yojana. The approval was the 53rd meeting of the Central Sanctioning and Monitoring Committee. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has set a target of providing pucca houses to all the beneficiaries in the country by 2022. Representatives of 11 states and union territories were involved in this meeting.Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said that out of the total demand of one crore 12 lakh houses by the year 2022, about one crore 11 lakh houses have been approved so far. He informed that the foundation work of 73.10 lakh houses has been completed and 42.70 lakh houses have been handed over to the beneficiaries.
