New Delhi. If you also want to buy your own house then there is great news for you. Actually, the central government has approved the construction of more than 1 lakh houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana- Urban Mission. These houses will be built in 5 states of the country – Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Puducherry and Uttarakhand.


Durga Shanker Mishra, Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) discussed issues related to infrastructure and construction of houses in the states and union territories. During this, construction of 1.07 lakh houses has been approved.

Approval for construction of 1.14 crore houses

The ministry said that a total of 1.14 crore houses were approved for construction under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) Mission, out of which 53 lakh houses have been completed and delivered to the beneficiaries. An investment of Rs 7.52 crore has been made on this mission, of which Rs 1.85 crore has been provided by the central government. In which 1.14 lakh crore has been released by the central government.

>> Here in the menu click on ‘Citizen Assessment’ and select the apply category.
>> Here you will get many options. You select the option according to your stay.
>> After this you have to fill the aadhar number and click on check.
>> After this an online form will open. Fill the information requested in this form.
>> After that enter the captcha code, verify and submit.
>> After submission, an application number will be displayed on your screen. Take a print out of it and save it.
