Changes in rules under PM Awas
Actually, the government will see for five years whether you have used these houses or not. This agreement will be converted into a lease deed if you are residing in it. Otherwise the development authority will also terminate the agreement made with you. After this the amount deposited by you will also not be refunded. That is, overall the rigging going on in it will stop.
There are many agreements to be done
Kanpur is the first such development authority where people are being given the rights to live in the house under the registered agreement to lease. In the first phase, an agreement has been made with 60 people in the camp organized on the initiative of KDA Vice President Arvind Singh. At the same time, he told that agreements are yet to be signed on this basis with more than 10900 allottees.
Flats will not be free hold

Even after five years people will have to stay on lease. It will be beneficial that those who used to rent a house under the PM Awas Yojana, it will now be almost closed.
What are the rules?
Along with this, if an allottee dies, then according to the rules, the lease will be transferred to the family member only. KDA will not enter into any agreement with any other family. Under this agreement, the allottees will have to use the houses for 5 years. After this the lease of the houses will be restored.
