Provision in the budget for one lakh houses
Jharkhand’s Finance Minister Dr. Rameshwar Oraon presented the budget in the state. During the budget announcement, the Finance Minister said that additional assistance would be given to add one room from the state government in the houses to be built under the PM Awas Yojana. The government has decided to give an additional amount of Rs 50,000 per house. This provision has been made in the budget for about one lakh houses.
Announcements also made for farmers
At the same time, during the budget announcement was also made to send 2 lakh 11 thousand 530 to the account of farmers under the farm loan waiver scheme. Along with this, more than 9 lakh farmers will also be kept under the ambit of loan waiver. Not only this, the introduction of self-employment scheme for farmers was also mentioned.
Government will promote biogas by buying cow dung
Godhan Vikas Yojana will be started in Jharkhand. Under the Godhan Vikas Yojana, the state government will promote biogas by purchasing cow dung. With this, 40 thousand farmers will be given self-employment.
Proposal to give 100 units of electricity free
The government has made preparations to give big relief to the poor and farmers of the state to reduce the burden of electricity. A proposal has been made to provide 100 units of electricity per month free of cost to each such families.
The government will also work to develop the villages. It was told in the budget that 100 villages will be developed in the first phase of the CM Sarathi Yojana and Smart Village Scheme.
