PM Awas Yojana: The Government of India has released the second installment of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in April itself. The money for the second installment has also arrived in the accounts of thousands of beneficiaries.

How to check status?

To check your status in PM Awas Yojana, first of all go to the official website of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and click on the option of ‘Citizen Assessment’. Now a new page will open, here select the option of ‘Track Your Assessment Status’. Enter the registration number here and give the information asked to check the status. After this, select the state, district and city and submit it. Now the status of your application will be displayed on your screen.

How to apply for PM Awas Yojana

To apply for PM Awas Yojana, first go to pmaymis.gov.in and select the option of ‘Citizen Assessment’. Now select the option according to your residence and after filling your Aadhaar number, check it. Now an online form will open, in which many types of information will be asked. Fill this information and re-read it and submit it. After this you will get the application serial number. Take a print out of it and keep it safe for future.

Who gets the benefit of PM Awas Yojana?

The benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is available to only those people whose income is less than three lakh rupees and they do not have any house. The government provides Rs 2.50 lakh to these people to build houses. Its money is given in three installments. 50 thousand is given in the first installment, Rs 1.50 lakh in the second installment and Rs 50 thousand in the third installment. Of these 2.50 lakh rupees, 1 lakh is given by the state government and 1.50 lakh is given by the central government.
