PM Kisan 17th Installment: 2000 rupees came in the bank account of farmers

PM Kisan 17th Installment: Rs 2000 has been transferred to the bank accounts of crores of beneficiary farmers of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. For the first time after assuming office for the third consecutive time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has transferred the 17th installment to the farmers from his parliamentary constituency Varanasi today on June 18.

PM Kisan 17th Installment: Rs 2000 has been transferred to the bank accounts of crores of beneficiary farmers of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. For the first time after assuming office for the third consecutive time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has transferred the 17th installment to the farmers from his parliamentary constituency Varanasi today on June 18. PM Modi has released more than Rs 20,000 crore to 9.26 crore beneficiary farmers across the country. Under the PM Kisan Yojana, Rs 2,000 is transferred three times a year. Earlier in February, farmers received Rs 2000 as the 16th installment.

Rs 2000 came in the bank account of farmers

Since the launch of PM Kisan Yojana, the Center has paid more than Rs 3.04 lakh crore to more than 11 crore farmers across the country. Today PM Modi has transferred the 17th installment to the farmers’ bank account online from Varanasi. Launched in 2019, PM Kisan Yojana PM-Kisan is a direct benefit transfer initiative under which beneficiary farmers are given Rs 6,000 annually in three equal installments to meet their financial needs.

PM-Kisan Yojana: Previous 16th installment

Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 16th installment of PM-Kisan Yojana of more than Rs 21,000 crore to more than 9 crore farmers during his visit to Yavatmal in Maharashtra on 28 February 2024. The 15th installment was released on 15 November 2023.

E-KYC is necessary for PM-Kisan

Farmers are required to complete their e-KYC to receive installments. According to the official website of the scheme, eKYC is mandatory for PMKISAN registered farmers. OTP-based eKYC is available on the PMKisan portal, or for biometric-based eKYC, one can visit the nearest CSC centers.

Beneficiary farmers can check the status

  • Visit the official website – pmkisan.gov.in
  • Now click on the Know Your Status tab on the right side of the page
  • Enter your registration number and fill in the captcha code, and select the ‘Get Data’ option
  • Your beneficiary status will appear on the screen.

PM-KISAN: This is how you can check your name in the beneficiary list

Step 1: Visit the official website of PM Kisan www.pmkisan.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the ‘Beneficiary List’ tab.

Step 3: Select details like state, district, sub-district, block and village from the drop-down

Step 4: Click on the ‘Get Report’ tab. If your name is included in the scheme, it will appear. You can call the helpline numbers – 155261 and 011-24300606.
