Prime Minister Narendra Modi has released the 18th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme from Washim, Maharashtra today on 5 October 2024.
PM Kisan 18th Installment: The 18th installment under the PM Kisan Yojana has been released in the bank accounts of farmers. Rs 2,000 has arrived in the bank accounts of farmers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has released the 18th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme from Washim, Maharashtra today on 5 October 2024. Under this installment, money has been transferred directly to the accounts of more than 9.4 crore farmers across the country. The central government has spent more than ₹ 20,000 crore on this scheme. The PM-Kisan scheme was started for the financial assistance of farmers, in which ₹ 6,000 is given annually in three installments. The Prime Minister also interacted with the farmers during this program.

- Click on ‘Know Your Status’ tab.
- Enter the registration number and captcha code, and click on ‘Get Data’.
- Your beneficiary status will appear on the screen.
What is PM-KISAN Scheme?
Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, eligible farmers are given Rs 2,000 every four months. Farmers get Rs 6,000 annually. This money is transferred to the bank account of the farmers. This money was started to strengthen the farmers at the economic level.
Check name in beneficiary list?
- Go to pmkisan.gov.in.
- Click on the ‘Beneficiary List’ tab.
- Select State, District, Block, and Village details and click on ‘Get Report’.
- The beneficiary list will appear on your screen.
- For assistance to farmers, helpline numbers 155261 and 011-24300606 can also be contacted.
e-KYC is necessary first to get the installment
e-KYC mandatory To avail the benefits of this scheme, farmers are required to complete e-KYC. The website states that farmers can do OTP-based e-KYC or complete biometric e-KYC by visiting the nearest Common Service Center (CSC).
