Why e-KYC is necessary
As part of the campaign to prevent fraud in PM Kisan, it has been made mandatory to do e-KYC. This time it is getting delayed due to e-KYC and village-village verification. Let us inform that, under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, the central government makes direct transfer of Rs 6000 every year to the farmers’ account in three installments of 2000-2000. So far, 10 installments have been released by the government under the scheme.
How to do e-KYC
- First of all you have to go to pmkisan.gov.in.
- Then you will get the option of e-KYC on the homepage of the portal.
- In this, you have to enter your Aadhaar number and click on the enter button.
- Up you have to enter your Aadhaar linked mobile number. After which a four digit OTP number will come on your mobile number. Fill it in the given box.
- After this you will have to do Aadhaar authentication once again. After which a 6 digit OTP will come on your registered mobile. Submit it.
- Your e-KYC will be completed as soon as you submit the OTP. If your KYC is not completed then invalid will appear on your screen. In such a situation, you can take help by visiting the Aadhaar Seva Kendra. If your KYC is already done then e-KYC already done message will come.
