New Delhi, Business Desk. If you are doing agricultural work, then you must have heard the name of Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi i.e. PM Kisan Scheme. Under this scheme, the central government provides cash assistance of Rs 6,000 to farmers of the country every year. The government provides this assistance to farmers in three equal installments. This means that in every installment the government sends Rs 2,000 to the account of the farmers registered under the scheme. In April this year in the crisis that emerged from Kovid-19, the government has made available the first installment of the current financial year to the farmers. However, many farmers are still not getting the benefit of this scheme because they are not registered under this scheme. In such a situation, eligible farmers should get themselves registered under this scheme at the earliest as the government may announce the release of the second installment of the current financial year at any time.
