PM KISAN: Government tightens its grip on those who take wrongful installments, states have started recovery process

New Delhi. The 9th installment of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme has been transferred (DBT) by the government to the farmers’ account. However, still 2000 rupees of installment have not reached the account of many farmers. Apart from this, many ineligible farmers have taken advantage of the scheme. The government has started tightening the noose on these ineligible farmers. If you have also taken the money of PM Kisan (PM KISAN) wrongly, then you will also have to return it. Many state governments have started recovery by issuing recovery notices to those who have wrongly taken advantage of the scheme.

The government felt that the lime of Rs 2,900 crore

is the most fake Aadhaar beneficiaries among the ineligible farmers. Their number is 3.86 lakh. After this, more than 2.34 lakh farmers have been declared ineligible for PM Kisan Yojana due to being taxpayers. In this, the installment amount is being sent to the account of more than 32 thousand dead farmers. The government has identified more than 42 lakh ineligible farmers across the country. So far, Rs 2,900 crore has been sent to his account as installment. Let us tell you that under the scheme, the central government puts 6000 rupees every year in three equal installments of 2000 rupees in the accounts of farmers.

In many states, cases of husband and wife, deceased farmers, fund transfer to wrong account, wrong Aadhaar, taxpayers, pensioners taking benefit of PM Kisan Yojana have been reported in many states. The government is recovering the released amount from such ineligible farmers. Ineligible farmers will have to deposit cash in the office of the Deputy Director of Agriculture. On depositing the amount, they will be given a receipt. Later, the department will deposit this amount in the account of the government and remove the data of the ineligible farmer along with feeding it on the online portal.

From which farmers will the money be withdrawn

>> To take advantage of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the farmer should have agricultural land in his name. If a farmer is doing farming, but the field is not in his name, then he will not be a beneficiary. He cannot take advantage of the scheme even if the field is in the name of his father or grandfather.

>> If someone is the owner of agricultural land, but he is a government employee or has retired, he is a sitting or former MP, MLA, minister, then he does not get the benefit of the scheme.

>> Professionals, Registered Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Chartered Accountants or their family members also do not get the benefit of the scheme.

>> The benefit of the scheme is not even available to the pensioner above Rs 10,000. At the same time, the families paying income tax will also not get the benefit of the scheme.

>> Many people of the same family do not get the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana. If you have taken benefit of the scheme in the name of wife, parents or siblings along with you, then recovery will be done.

After reaching the official website of PM Kisan Yojana, pmkisan.nic.in, click on the Farmers Corner on the right side. After this click on the Beneficiary Status option, after which a new page will open. Now enter your Aadhar Number, Mobile Number. After this you will get complete information about your status.
