According to sources, the government can directly increase the money received under PM Kisan Scheme by 50 percent.
Rs 6000 is available under PM Kisan
Currently, beneficiary farmers get Rs 2,000 in one installment and Rs 6,000 annually under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The government transfers this money online to the farmers’ accounts in three installments. Every time the government transfers Rs 2,000 to the bank account. This installment comes to the bank account of the farmers every 4 months. In the budget, the government can increase the amount given to farmers to Rs 9000. That is, the money for farmers will directly increase from Rs 6000 to Rs 9000. The government will directly increase it by 50 percent. Earlier there were reports that the government will increase the amount by Rs 8000, but if sources are to be believed then the government will increase the amount of PM Kisan by 50 percent to Rs 9000.
When was PM Kisan Yojana started?
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is a scheme of the Central Government. This scheme was announced in the interim budget of 2019. The 16th installment of this government scheme is expected to be released between February and March this year. Recently, the government has transferred the 15th installment to the accounts of farmers on 15th November.
