Many state governments have issued a list of ineligible farmers to recover the installment money of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan Yojana) from ineligible farmers.
In order to provide financial help to the farmers of the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan Yojana) in the year 2018. So far more than 11 crore farmers have been linked to this scheme.
Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 6,000 is provided annually to the registered farmers. This amount is sent to the account of the farmers in three installments. Farmers are provided financial assistance of Rs 2,000 every four months.
The ineligible farmers got the benefit of the scheme, the
central government has set the target of PM Kisan Yojana to every farmer of the country. Earlier, only those farmers could be linked to this scheme, who have less than 2 hectares of cultivable land. But later the rules of the scheme were changed. After which now any farmer who fulfills all the conditions of this scheme can take advantage of this scheme.
Many such farmers are also associated with this scheme, who do not fulfill all the conditions of this scheme. Many such farmers have also joined the scheme, who do not have agricultural land or who have deposited tax recently. Such farmers do not fulfill all the conditions of the scheme. The government has decided to exclude such ineligible farmers from the scheme.
These farmers will have to return the installment money, the
government has created a DBT website for the convenience of the ineligible farmers. Farmers can return the installment money by visiting this website. By visiting this website, farmers can also check their names in the list whether they do not fall under the category of ineligible farmers.
The government can stop the tenth installment of such farmers, who have taken advantage of this scheme without fulfilling all the conditions. Many state governments have also developed a separate website for ineligible farmers, on which farmers can deposit the installment money back.
Bihar government has released the official website dbtagriculture.bihar.gov.in to recover the installment money from the ineligible farmers of the state.
