The government has closed a facility related to PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. After this, the farmers are confused whether the 11th installment will come in their account now or not.
E-KYC is mandatory for farmers
Actually, the Modi government at the Center has made e-KYC mandatory for farmers, but now the facility of doing e-KYC from home has been stopped. Farmers will be able to do e-KYC of their PM Kisan account, but by going to the CSC center. Now e-KYC cannot be done through OTP.
That is, farmers are now left with the option of getting e-KYC done offline.
- Now e-KYC will be done by going to the CSC center,
- now the message about e-KYC is being flashed on the PM Kisan portal. It has been written that e-KYC is mandatory for the registered farmers of PM Kisan.
- Now for biometric authentication, go to the nearest CSC i.e. Aadhaar Seva Kendra and contact.
- Now Aadhaar based e-KYC through OTP authentication has been temporarily suspended.
E-KYC can be done till 31 May,
Earlier the last date for e-KYC was fixed by the Central Government as 31 March 2022. But, then the central government decided to extend the last date, giving a big relief to the farmers. Now the central government has fixed 31 May 2022 as the last date for PM Kisan Yojana. Since now e-KYC is not being done through OTP and the central government has also extended its date.
In such a situation, it is believed that this time also the 11th installment without e-KVC should be sent to the farmers’ account. However, the only thing being said by the government in this regard is that e-KYC is mandatory. In such a situation, it would be better if you have not got e-KYC done for your PM Kisan account yet, then get it done as soon as possible.
