In order to encourage organic farming, the government is encouraging farmers to do agriculture in traditional ways under the scheme, as well as to try to provide them with chemical-free farms. So that good crop can be grown on that land and also to get a chemical-free field and maintain the quality of land.
Facility provided in Traditional Agricultural Development Scheme

A plan has been formulated to provide financial grants to farmers mainly on the basis of collective approach and PGS certification shifts. Under the scheme, crops will be checked by the authorities through the partnership guarantee system, so as to provide financial assistance to farmers for organic farming. If farmers want to seek financial assistance for organic farming, 500 to 1000 hectares of land must have a member group of 20 to 50 farmers.
