Narendra Modi Oath ceremony: The process of formation of the next government of the country has started. PM Modi met President Draupadi Murmu. After this, the date and time of the swearing-in ceremony has been revealed. The swearing-in ceremony will be held in the Rashtrapati Bhavan premises as usual.

Narendra Modi Oath ceremony, Rashtrapati Bhavan: Narendra Modi is going to take oath as the Prime Minister for the third time. After being elected the leader of the parliamentary party in the NDA alliance meeting, Narendra Modi reached Rashtrapati Bhavan on Friday evening. Here he met President Draupadi Murmu. The President invited him to form a new government. During this, the leader of the parliamentary party Narendra Modi was nominated for the post of Prime Minister and President Murmu handed over the nomination letter to Modi. During this, the President also fed curd and sugar to Modi. Earlier also on many occasions, the President was seen feeding curd and sugar to leaders.

June 9, at 7:15 pm

At present, the time for the swearing-in ceremony of the new government has come. The ceremony will start on Sunday evening around 7 o’clock. PM Modi will take oath as Prime Minister at 7:15 pm. After meeting the President, Modi said that he has told the President that he will be comfortable on the evening of June 9 for the swearing-in, by then he will submit the list of the Council of Ministers to the President.

What did PM Modi say..

Along with this, he said that he assures the countrymen that during the five-year term in the 18th Lok Sabha, he will leave no stone unturned in fulfilling the hopes and aspirations of the country with the same speed and dedication. He said that an NDA meeting was held this morning and all the colleagues have chosen me for this responsibility once again. All the NDA colleagues have informed the President about this. The President had called me and appointed me as the Prime Minister-designate.

NDA gets clear majority

Narendra Modi is going to become the Prime Minister for the third consecutive time. NDA has got a clear majority in the results of the Lok Sabha elections that came on June 4. All the constituent parties of the NDA have expressed their full faith in Prime Minister Modi, chose him as their leader and have given letters of support. On the other hand, preparations are going on for the swearing-in ceremony of the new government in the Rashtrapati Bhavan. In view of these preparations, the Rashtrapati Bhavan has been closed for the general public from 5 to 9 June.
