PM Ujjwala Yojana 2.0 – Government has launched the new version 2.0 of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana! In this new version of the scheme, people are being given more benefits than before. This time along with free gas connection, filled gas cylinder + stove is also being given.
So let us know, how you can apply for this new version of Ujjwala Yojana.
These people can take advantage of Ujjwala Yojana 2.0 –
- Only women who are 18 years of age or above can apply for the scheme.
- There should not be a gas connection in the name of any member of the family (mother, father, boy or girl) earlier.
- Only SC, ST, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin), Most Backward Classes (MBC), Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) or Poor Household as per 14-point declaration women can apply for the scheme.
These documents will be required for Ujjwala Yojana 2.0 –
- Aadhar card
- Ration Card / Self Declaration Form
- Aadhar card for all the members of the family whose age is more than 18 years.
- Bank Account Number + IFSC Code

How to Apply Offline for PM Ujjwala Yojana –
You can apply for this scheme both online and offline. Eligible women can go to their nearest gas agency with all the above mentioned documents to apply offline. And there you can apply for a new gas connection under PM Ujjwala Yojana 2.0 by submitting documents + KYC.
