Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY): Everyone dreams of having their own permanent house. Even today, the number of people who do not have their own permanent house is very high. In such a situation, either these people are forced to live in a kutcha house or live in a rented house etc. To help such people who have a kutcha house, the Central Government runs the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to get them a permanent house. These people are not eligible

If you also want to take advantage of the PM Awas Yojana, then definitely know that there are some people who cannot take advantage of this scheme. This includes people who have a permanent house, whether it is in rural area or urban area…

If you do a government job or someone in your family is a government employee or retired from a government job, people who are taxpayers, if your annual income is more than the prescribed limit etc. In such a situation, these people cannot take benefits under the PM Awas Yojana.

These people are eligible:-

  • People who are citizens of India and whose age is more than 18 years
  • People who have BPL card
  • People who do not have any residential unit
  • People who have a kutcha house
  • People whose income is low etc.

What are the benefits?

If you join the PM Awas Yojana, then you are not given a house but financial help to build a house. This money is given by the government. For this, you have to apply first and then your verification is done and after everything is found correct, you can apply.
