If you want to start your own business but you do not have much deposit, then you can take a loan for it cheaply. For this, the Modi government is running the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana. What is Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY)

Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) was launched on 8 April 2015 to provide loans up to 10 lakhs to a non-corporate, non-agriculture small/small enterprises. Mudra loans can be taken from commercial banks, regional rural banks (RRBs), small finance banks, co-operative banks, MFIs and NBFCs. The government wants to promote entrepreneurship through this scheme, so that employment will increase in the country.

Mudra loans are given to vendors, traders and shopkeepers. This loan is also available for setting up small business. Apart from this, Mudra loans are also taken for works related to agriculture, such as fly rearing, fish farming, poultry farming.

This loan is available in three categories

PMMY is divided into three categories. The first infant (Mudra Sishu), the second teenager (Mudra Kishor) and the third tarun (Mudra Tarun). Under Shishu, a loan of up to Rs 50,000 is available. Loans ranging from 50 thousand to 5 lakh rupees are available in the teen category. At the same time, in the Tarun category, you can take a loan of Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. Depending on the nature of your business and project requirement, you can avail a MUDRA loan as per the norms of any category of MUDRA.

To take a Mudra loan, you will have to provide identity proof such as Aadhaar, Voter ID, PAN, Driving License (Aadhaar, Voter ID, PAN, Driving License) along with an application form. Can give electricity bill, telephone bill, gas bill, water bill (electricity bill, telephone bill, gas bill, water bill) as address proof. Apart from this, you have to submit business certificate. Let us tell you that if a woman is a businessman, then this loan is provided to her at a low interest rate of 0.25 percent.
