PNB Alert: There is big news for crores of customers of Punjab National Bank (PNB). The customers of the bank have 5 days time. If you want to keep your Dormant account active, then do this work by June 30. Otherwise, the account of the customers may be closed on July 1. PNB is sending notices to some of its customers who have not used the account for a long time.

Such accounts of PNB will be closed from July 1

If you have a savings account in PNB Bank, then first check its status. PNB account is going to close such accounts by the end of this month till June 30, 2024. The bank has said in its notification that accounts in which there has been no transaction for the last 3 years. Also, those whose account balance has remained at zero rupees for the last three years. He is going to close it. Notice has been sent to such customers. Those accounts will be closed one month after sending the notice. If you want to keep those accounts active, then go to the bank branch and get KYC done immediately. Otherwise, these bank accounts will be closed on July 1, 2024.

These PNB accounts will be closed by June 30

PNB had informed its customers a few days ago that they should get KYC done for such accounts. However, the bank has extended the deadline till June 30, 2024. After that these accounts will be closed from July 1. Many scammers misuse such accounts, which the customers are not using for a long time. The bank has taken this big step to deal with such cases. According to the notification issued by the bank, the calculation of the account will be done on the basis of April 30, 2024. The bank has already sent notice to such customers.

These bank accounts will be activated again after KYC

According to the notification issued by the bank, if the account becomes inactive and the customer wants to activate the account again, then such customers will have to go to the branch and fill the KYC form. Along with the KYC form, the customer will also have to attach the necessary documents. After this, their account will be activated. Customers can go to the bank for more information.
