The official Twitter account of Punjab National Bank has been told that the TDS certificate (Form 16A) for the March quarter is available in the nearest branch of the bank.
Customers will have to contact the nearest branch of Punjab National Bank for the certificate. According to the bank, TDS certificate (Form 16A) has also been sent to the registered e-mail with the customers.
Apart from this, customers can match the information of Form 16A given by banks by taking Form 26AS from the income tax department website.

Form 16A is issued for customers who have capital deposited in a bank and the client’s profit has exceeded certain limit.
It is mandatory for banks to deduct TDS (tax at source) on this interest. At the same time, Form 26AS contains details of tax deducted at source (TDS) and collection of tax at source (TCS).
Now information of property and share transactions has also been included in this form. If you understand in easy language, the revised form will include the details of all major financial transactions of the taxpayer.
