PNB tweeted the information-

Punjab National Bank gave this information by tweeting and said that if financial fraud occurs with any customer, then immediately call cyber crime and inform about it. Apart from this, Punjab National Bank also issued a toll free number for its customers, by calling which a report about fraud can be lodged.

Bank issued toll free number-

The bank has also given a cyber crime number to register complaints related to online fraud. If any such incident happens to any PNB customer, he can call 155260 and lodge his report.

Number of cyber crime cases in the country-

Let us tell you that in the year 2020, 50,035 cases of cyber crime were registered. These were 11.8 percent more than the cases recorded a year before. According to the data of National Crime Records Bureau, the rate of cyber crime in the country has increased from 3.3 percent in 2019 to 3.7 percent in 2020.
