PNB Positive Pay System: Payment rules are going to change for the customers of Punjab National Bank (PNB). According to the official website of the bank, from April 4, the bank is going to change the rules of Positive Pay System (PPS) for payment by check for its customers.
PNB said that from April 4, verification of the positive pay system will be mandatory for customers of the bank making payments above Rs 10 lakh.
PPS Safeguards you against various kinds of cheque frauds. Account holders may submit the cheque details at branch or through digital channels i.e

For the positive pay system of Punjab National Bank, customers are required to give details of their account number, check number, check alpha, check date, check amount, beneficiary name etc. to the bank.
In the absence of positive pay verification, the bank does not pay your cheque. Such check will be returned back.

Punjab National Bank (PNB) said that the Positive Pay System (PPS) protects you from various types of check payment frauds. Account holders can deposit the check details at the branch or through digital channels.
