FD interest rates have been increased by PNB. The highest interest is now being given by the bank to general investors on FD of 400 days.
PNB FD Rates 2024: Punjab National Bank i.e. PNB, one of the big banks of the country, has given good news to its customers. The bank has increased the interest rate on selected FDs of less than Rs 2 crore by 50 basis points or 0.50 percent. However, the interest rate on FDs of some tenures has also been reduced. The new interest rates have come into effect from January 1, 2024.
Interest increased on FD for which tenures?
The bank has increased the interest on FDs of 180 days to 270 days from 5.5 percent to 6 percent. The bank has increased the interest on FDs of 271 days to less than one year by 0.45 percent to 6.25 percent. Earlier it was 5.80 percent. The interest on 400 days FD has been increased by the bank from 6.80 percent to 7.25 percent, this is the highest interest paying FD of PNB. At the same time, the bank has reduced the interest on FD of 444 days from 7.35 percent to 6.80 percent.

- 3.5 percent on FD from 7 days to 45 days
- 4.5 percent on FD of 46 days to 179 days
- 6 percent on FD of 180 days to 270 days
- 6.25 percent on FDs of 271 days to less than one year
- 6.75 percent on one year FD
- One year to 399 days 6.8 percent
- 7.25 percent on 400 days FD
- 6.8 percent on FD from 401 days to two years
- 7 percent on FD from 2 years to 3 years
- 6.5 percent on FD from 3 years to 10 years
The bank is giving interest ranging from 4 percent to 7.75 percent to senior citizens. At the same time, interest ranging from 4.3 percent to a maximum of 8.05 percent is being given by the bank to the investors for very senior citizens.
