PNB FD Interest Rate: PNB increased FD rates for the second time in 10 days, know Banks highest interest rate

PNB FD Interest Rate: If you are also a customer of Punjab National Bank (PNB), then definitely read this news. PNB has increased the interest rate on FD for the second time within 10 days.


In the last one month, FD interest rates have been increased by many banks. Interest rates have been increased by some banks for different periods. Now PNB had recently increased the interest rate on 300 day FD. Now again the bank has increased the interest rate.

Meanwhile, SBI’s special FD is being offered at the rate of 7.10 percent per annum in the time limit of 400 days. This FD offer has been extended by the bank till March 31, 2024. Experts are advising to invest on the high interest rates offered by banks.

Punjab National Bank has increased the interest rate by 80 basis points under the special period scheme. The bank has increased the interest rate on 300 day deposits from 6.25 percent to 7.05 percent from January 8, 2024. The remaining interest rates offered by the bank will remain at the old level. The bank is giving 6.75 percent interest on one year deposits. The bank is giving interest of 7.25 percent on 400 days deposit. The interest rate on FD of 2 to 3 years is 7 percent.

Recently, SBI had changed the interest rate on FD after 10 months in December. The bank is giving interest at the rate of 6.80 percent per annum on one year FD. Apart from this, the interest rate on FD with maturity of 2 to 3 years is available at the rate of 7 percent. The interest rate on FD of 3 to 5 years is 6.75 percent.

HDFC Bank is offering only the interest rate applicable from October 1, 2023. The bank is giving interest rate of 6.6 percent per annum on one year FD. 7.15 percent interest is being given on FD between 2 years 11 months to 35 months. Of the remaining FDs of different maturities, interest of 7 percent per annum is being given.

Bank of Baroda has offered the new interest rate on 29 December 2023 only. An interest rate of 6.85 percent per annum is being given on FDs between one and two years. The interest rate on FD of 2 to 3 years is 7.25 percent. 7.15 percent interest is being offered annually on 399 day special FD.
