Punjab National Bank has reduced the interest rate on its savings account below Rs 10 lakh to 2.75% per annum. That is, from February 3, the interest rate for savings fund account balance less than Rs 10 lakh in PNB savings account will be 2.75% per annum. At the same time, for the balance of Rs 10 lakh and above, the interest rate will be 2.80% per annum. Interest rates may rise
PNB Managing Director and CEO SS Mallikarjuna Rao said Punjab National Bank may increase interest rates by 25 to 30 basis points in February this year. Addressing a virtual press conference, Rao told that PNB has the lowest interest rates. PNB home loan interest rates range from 6.5 to 7 per cent.
