PNB FD Rate: There is great news for the customers of Punjab National Bank (PNB) Bank. The bank has once again announced to increase the fixed deposit i.e. FD rate. These new rates are applicable from January 8. Let us tell you that PNB has increased the FD interest rates on amounts less than ₹ 2 crore for the second time this month. Earlier, the bank had increased the rates from January 1.

This time, the bank has increased the rates on single tenure by 80 basis points (bps). Earlier on January 1, the bank had increased rates by up to 45 basis points (bps) on some tenures and cut rates on others. PNB has increased the interest rates on deposits maturing in 300 days from 6.25% to 7.05%. PNB offers 3.5% to 7.25% interest to ordinary citizens on deposits maturing in 7 days to ten years.   • 271 days to 299 days 6.25%
  • 300 days 7.05%
  • 6.25% for tenures less than 301 days to 1 year
  • 1 year 6.75%
  • 400 days 7.25%
  • 401 days to 2 years 6.80%
  • Above 2 years and up to 3 years 7.00%
  • Above 3 years and up to 5 years 6.50%
  • Above 5 years and up to 10 years 6.50%

For senior citizens

After the latest revision, PNB is offering interest rates ranging from 4% to 7.75% on FDs maturing in seven days to ten years. At the same time, it is giving interest rates ranging from 4.3% to 8.05% to super seniors.
