Police Recruitment 2021: Assam Police has invited applications for the post of Constable and Sub Inspector. The State Level Police Recruitment Board has also released the notification for this.
The number of vacancies is 2440. In which, 1429 posts of constable (armed branch), 705 posts of constable (unarmed branch) and 306 posts of sub inspector are included.

What should be the educational qualification
For Sub Inspector Recruitment, the candidate must have a Bachelors degree from a recognized university or institute. At the same time, 10th pass for constable (armed branch), 12th pass for constable (unarmed branch).
What is the age limit
The age limit for recruitment to the constable posts should be 18 years to 25 years. Whereas the age limit for sub inspector recruitment should be from 20 years to 26 years. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation as per rules.
