According to the new rules, now for making non-financial transactions more than five times in a month from ATMs, five rupees plus GST will have to be paid every time. After three free transactions in metro cities and five in non-metro cities from ATMs of other banks, Rs 8 and GST will have to be paid.

The annual maintenance charge for an ATM or debit card will be Rs 125 plus GST. This charge has been implemented till 30 September 2022. Koderma Postal Inspector Sanjay Sangam said that changes have been made in many schemes of the post office. The new rule has been implemented.

Amount will be charged for SMS alert

SMS alerts sent to the debit card customer’s mobile will also be charged. Under this, the post office will charge Rs 12 from its customers. It also includes GST. This fee is fixed for one year. In case of loss of India Post ATM card, customers will have to pay Rs 300 plus GST to get a new ATM card. In case of loss of ATM PIN, there will be an additional charge for getting it again. 50 rupees plus GST will have to be paid for getting a pin from the post office branch or getting a duplicate pin made.
