PM Modi and Smriti Irani have already invested in these schemes
Both NSC and MSSC are like fixed deposits. Any Indian citizen can invest in NSC for 5 years. This scheme is also included in the portfolio of Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself. MSSC is run to encourage women’s savings. In this scheme, money has to be deposited for two years. Former Union Minister Smriti Irani has also invested in this scheme.
This scheme’s option is available only in post offices
POMIS scheme is a scheme that provides regular income every month. In this scheme, a maximum of 9 lakhs can be deposited on a single account and a maximum of 15 lakhs on a joint account. This amount is deposited for 5 years. Money is given on this at the rate of 7.4%. Investors earn through interest.
