Post Office Term Deposit: How much return will you get if you invest ₹2,00,000 in 1, 2, 3 and 5 year FD in Post Office? know the calculation

Post Office Term Deposit: Many types of schemes are run in the post office. Post Office FD is also one of them. In the post office, you can invest in 1, 2, 3 and 5 year FDs. Different interest rates are given on FDs of different tenures. If you are also thinking of investing in this scheme, then know here how much return you will get on investing ₹ 2,00,000.

First understand how much interest is being given on how many tenures

6.9% interest is given on 1 year FD of post office. Whereas 7.0% interest is given on 2 year FD, 7.1% on 3 year FD and 7.5% on 5 year FD.

How much return on 5 year FD

If you invest 2,00,000 rupees in this, then you will get an interest of 89,990 rupees at the rate of 7.5 percent. In this case, you will get a total of 2, 89,990 rupees as maturity amount after 5 years.

How much return on 3 year FD

If you invest in post office FD for three years, then you will get an interest of 7.1 percent on it. In this case, you will get a total of 47,015 rupees as interest and you will get 2,47,015 rupees on maturity.

How much return on 2 year FD

If you deposit money for two years, then you will get interest at the rate of 7 percent on it. In this way, you will get a total of 29,776 rupees. In this way, after two years you can get a total of 2,29,776 rupees.

How much return on 1 year FD

If you invest money in post office FD for 1 year, then you will get 14,161 rupees as interest at the rate of 6.9 percent. In this way, after one year you can get a total of 2,14,161 rupees.
