Taking cognizance of this WhatsApp message that is becoming increasingly viral, the Twitter handle of the government’s PIB Fact Check has issued a clarification by sharing it. The handle tweeted, “Claim: A message is being shared on WhatsApp claiming that loans at 1% interest are available through Aadhar card under Pradhan Mantri Yojana. PIB fact check found this claim to be fake. Loan is not being given by the central government under any such scheme called ‘Pradhan Mantri Yojana’. This ‘Pradhan Mantri Yojana’ claiming to get loan from Aadhar card is fake.
