PUC Certificate Charge Hike: The charges for Pollution Under Control Certificate i.e. PUC certificate in Delhi have now been increased. According to the new order of the Delhi government, PUC certificate for two-wheelers and three-wheelers will now be made for Rs 80 instead of Rs 60. Whereas to get a PUC certificate for diesel vehicles, now Rs 140 will have to be paid instead of Rs 100.
Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot said that the charge for two and three-wheelers has been increased from Rs 60 to Rs 80 and for four-wheelers from Rs 80 to Rs 100.
In his statement, Gehlot also revealed that the PUC certificate charge for diesel vehicles has been increased from Rs 100 to Rs 140. He emphasized that these changes are a part of the Delhi government’s ongoing efforts to improve air quality and ensure that all vehicles comply with the required emission standards.
Kailash Gehlot said, “In response to the long-pending demands of the Delhi Petrol Dealers Association and keeping in mind the increasing cost of pollution checking service, we have decided to change the charges.”
Prices changed for the first time in 11 years
Gehlot further said, “The Delhi government is committed to maintaining the air quality of the city and ensuring that every vehicle meets the required pollution standards.”
Let us tell you that for the first time in 11 years, the Delhi government has made any change in the prices of Pollution Under Control Certificate (PUC Certificate) for petrol, CNG and diesel vehicles.
