The application process for recruitment to the posts of Specialist Officer in Punjab and Sindh Bank is going on on the official website. What is the selection process?
SMGS IV, MMGS III, MMGS II, JMGS I: The selection of the candidates will be done through three stages. First written exam, then short listing and finally personal interview.
The written exam will have 20 questions of 20 marks each from English Language, General Awareness, Professional Knowledge, 20 questions of 20 marks each, 60 questions of 60 marks each. There will be 100 questions of 100 marks in total.
For IT Specialists in JMGS I and MMGS II: Candidates applying for these posts must provide GATE scores as eligibility criteria. The selection process will include shortlisting based on GATE scores and a personal interview only.
What is the age limit?
- SMGS IV: Minimum age limit is 28 and maximum 40 years.
- MMGS III: Minimum age limit is 25 and maximum is 38 years.
- MMGS II: Minimum age limit is 25 and maximum 35 years.
- JMGS I: Minimum age limit is 20 and maximum 32 years.
What is the application fee?
The application fee for SC/ST/PWD category candidates is ₹100/- + applicable taxes + payment gateway charges and for General/EWS & OBC category candidates is ₹850/- + applicable taxes + payment gateway charges. Bank transaction charges for online payment of application fee/intimation charges have to be borne by the candidate.
