Punjab National Bank (PNB), following the guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), has asked its customers to update ‘Know Your Customer’ (KYC) information by 26 March 2025. These rules are for those customers who have not updated their KYC by 31 March 2024.
Offline and online KYC process
Customers can submit documents like their identity card, address proof, recent photo, PAN or Form 60, income proof and mobile number in the nearest branch. Apart from this, customers can also complete the KYC process through PNB ONE/Internet banking services or registered e-mail or post.
Account will be dormant if KYC is not done
PNB has clearly said that if KYC is not updated by the stipulated time, the account will not be able to be operated. The account will be dormant. Customers have been advised to visit the nearest PNB branch or the official website of the bank for any assistance. So that, customers can go there and get KYC done. Customers should complete their KYC process on time. So that, there is no problem in your banking transaction.
Customers should get KYC done soon
Punjab National Bank customers have 26 days to get KYC done. If you do not get KYC of savings account done. So the bank account will become dormant. They will not be able to do any transaction. Until the account holders do not get the KYC of the account done. That is, until the documents are not submitted. PNB bank account will not be activated.
