According to the notification of Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) Northern Railway, applications for 4096 apprentice posts have started from today. Interested candidates can apply till 16 September 2024. The special thing is that there will be no examination for this nor will there be any interview. Candidates will be selected through screening.
Railway Recruitment 2024: Age limit and fees for apprentice posts
According to the notification of Northern Railway, to apply for the posts of apprentice, one has to go to rrcnr.org. Candidates who have passed 10th should have ITI/NCVT certificate. The minimum age of the candidate should be 15 years and maximum age should be 24 years. SC, ST candidates have been given five years relaxation in age, OBC candidates three years and Divyang candidates have been given 10 years relaxation in age. The application fee will be Rs 100. However, there will be no fee for SC, ST, EWS, PwBD and female candidates.

RRC NR Apprentice Vacancy: This is how the candidates will be selected
For Railway Apprentice, candidates should have minimum 50% marks in Matriculation/SSC/10th pass. Apart from this, the merit list will be prepared after calculating the average of percentage marks obtained in both ITI exams. 10th pass and ITI will be given equal importance in the merit list. The merit list can be released in November 2024. The candidates who have been finally selected will be given a salary of Rs 16700 to Rs 26200 per month.
