In 2016-17, 15,000 tickets were booked per minute, while 18,000 tickets were booked per minute in 2017-18 and 20,000 per minute in 2018-19.

However, only two tickets can be booked in a day from 8 am to 10 am from one user ID. Only those people whose Aadhar card is linked with IRCTC account will be able to take advantage of this facility.
