Indian Railway: If you are planning to travel by train in the next few days, then this news is for you. Indian Railways has canceled 29 trains passing through Jharkhand till 26 April. Railways has taken this decision with the aim of improving the infrastructure. Under this, track renewal and signaling upgrade work is to be done, which has directly affected many trains of South-East Railway Zone.
Railway officials say that this decision has been taken to ensure the safety of passengers and to make train services better in future. However, during this time, passengers traveling may have to face some inconvenience. This work is being done mainly in Adra and Chakradharpur divisions, where track and signaling systems are being upgraded.
Which trains were cancelled?
Rourkela–Tata MEMU (68044) will remain cancelled from 21 to 26 April. Tatanagar–Rourkela MEMU (68043) will remain cancelled from 21 to 25 April. Rourkela–Jharsuguda–Rourkela MEMU (68030/68029) will remain cancelled from 21 to 26 April. Also, Rourkela–Chakradharpur–Rourkela MEMU (68026/68025) will remain cancelled from 21 to 26 April.
Apart from this, Tata–Bilaspur Express (18113/18114) will remain cancelled from 24 to 26 April and Tatanagar–Itwari Express (18109/18110) will remain cancelled on 25 and 26 April. At the same time, Hatia-Rourkela Passenger (58659) will remain canceled from 20 to 26 April and Rourkela-Hatia Passenger (58660) will remain canceled from 21 to 27 April.

Train will not go till Howrah
Apart from this, Kantabanji/Titlagarh–Howrah Ispat Express (22862/12872) will not go till Howrah from 21 to 26 April. This train will go only till Jharsuguda. Railways have advised passengers that they can get information about this from IRCTC website, mobile app or nearest railway station. Passengers whose trains have been cancelled will get full refund as per railway rules.
