Holi Special Trains: Central Railway has announced that 28 Holi Special trains will be run between Mumbai – Nagpur / Madgaon / Nanded and Pune – Nagpur to reduce the extra rush of passengers during the festival of Holi.
Holi Special Trains: There is still some time for the festival of Holi. In such a situation, preparations have already been made to take the passengers home on time for the festival. Central Railway has announced 28 Holi Special Trains for the convenience of passengers and to reduce the rush in trains.
Central Railway has announced that 28 Holi Special trains will be run between Mumbai – Nagpur / Madgaon / Nanded and Pune – Nagpur to reduce the extra rush of passengers during the festival of Holi.
Details of Holi Special Trains
1. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus -Nagpur – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Bi-weekly Special (8 services)
Train No. 02139 Bi-weekly Special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 00.20 hrs on 09.03.2025, 11.03.2025, 16.03.2025 & 18.03.2025 (Sunday & Tuesday) and reach Nagpur at 15.10 hrs on the same day. Train No. 02140 Bi-weekly Special train will leave Nagpur on 09.03.2025, 11.03.2025, 16.03.2025 & 18.03.2025 (Sunday & Tuesday) at 20.00 hrs and arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 13.30 hrs next day.
This train consists of 1 First AC, 1 First AC cum AC-2 Tier, 2 AC-2 Tier, 10 AC-3 Tier, 4 Sleeper Class, 4 General Second Class and 2 General Second Class cum Guard Brake Van. This train will halt at Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nasik Road, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Murtizapur, Badnera, Dhamangaon and Wardha.
2. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus – Madgaon – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Weekly Special (4 services)
Train No. 01151 Weekly Special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 00.20 hrs on 06.03.2025 & 13.03.2025 (Thursday) and arrive Madgaon at 13.30 hrs same day. Train No. 01152 Weekly Special will leave Madgaon at 14.15 hrs on 06.03.2025 & 13.03.2025 (Thursday) and arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 03.45 hrs next day.
This train consists of 1 First AC, 1 First AC cum AC-2 Tier, 2 AC-2 Tier, 10 AC-3 Tier, 4 Sleeper Class, 4 General Second Class and 2 General Second Class cum Guard Brake Van. This train will stop at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilvade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavli, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road and Thivi.
3. Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Madgaon – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Weekly Special (4 services)
Train No. 01129 Weekly Special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on 13.03.2025 & 20.03.2025 (Thursday) at 22.15 hrs and reach Madgaon at 10.30 hrs the next day. Train No. 01130 Weekly Special will leave Madgaon on 14.03.2025 & 21.03.2025 (Friday) at 14.30 hrs and reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 04.05 hrs next day.
This train consists of 1 First AC, 2 AC 2-Tier, 6 AC 3-Tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 1 Pantry Car and 2 Generator Cars. This train will stop at Thane, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Nandgaon Road, Kankavli, Sindhudurg, Kudal and Sawantwadi Road en route.
4. Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Hazur Sahib Nanded – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Weekly Special (4 services)
Train No. 01105 Weekly Special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 00.55 hrs on 12.03.2025 & 19.03.2025 (Wednesday) and reach Nanded at 21.00 hrs same day. Train No. 01106 Weekly Special will leave Nanded at 22.30 hrs on 12.03.2025 & 19.03.2025 (Wednesday) and reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 16.05 hrs next day.
This train consists of 1 First AC, 1 AC 2-Tier, 5 AC-3-Tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 4 Second Seating, 1 Pantry, 1 Generator Van and 1 Second Class cum Guard Brake Van. This train will stop at Thane, Kalyan, Lonavala, Pune, Daund, Kurduvadi, Barshi Town, Osmanabad, Latur, Latur Road, Parli, Gangakhed, Parbhani and Purna en route.
5. Pune – Nagpur – Pune Weekly Special (4 trips)
Train No. 01469 Weekly Special train will leave Pune on 11.03.2025 & 18.03.2025 (Tuesday) at 15.50 hrs and reach Nagpur next day at 06.30 hrs. Train No. 01470 Weekly Special will leave Nagpur on 12.03.2025 & 19.03.2025 (Wednesday) at 08.00 hrs and reach Pune at 23.30 hrs on the same day.
This train consists of three AC 2-tier, 15 AC 3-tier, 1 general second class cum guard brake van and 1 generator van. This train will stop at Uruli, Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Belapur, Kopargaon, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Badnera, Dhamangaon and Wardha on the way.
6. Pune – Nagpur – Pune Weekly Special (4 services)
Train No. 01467 Special will leave Pune on 12.03.2025 & 19.03.2025 (Wednesday) at 15.50 hrs and reach Nagpur next day at 06.30 hrs. Train No. 01468 Special will leave Nagpur on 13.03.2025 & 20.03.2025 (Thursday) at 08.00 hrs and reach Pune same day at 23.30 hrs.
This train consists of 1 First AC, 1 AC 2-Tier, 2 AC 3-Tier, 5 Sleeper Class, 6 General Second Class and 2 General Second Class cum Guard Brake Van.
