In the last 24 hours, strong winds blew from Punjab-Haryana to Delhi, UP, Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Vidarbha and North Maharashtra. Due to the change in weather, a drop in minimum temperature has been recorded. Here the temperature dropped by 3 to 4 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, rain and snowfall occurred in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh. Light rain was also recorded in Assam.

Warning of strong winds in these areas including Delhi

According to a report of the India Meteorological Department, initially it was told that strong surface winds can blow in North West India including Delhi. According to the Meteorological Department, the wind speed can be 25 to 35 kilometers per hour. In some areas, the wind speed can reach up to 45 kilometers per hour. According to the IMD, strong winds are likely to blow in Punjab-Haryana, Delhi, Western Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan in the next 24 hours.

A period of thunderstorms due to western disturbance

A new western disturbance is going to be active in the Himalayan region from March 9 to March 11. Due to its effect, a period of rain can start in many other states including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh. According to the IMD, a cyclonic circulation is formed around eastern Assam. Due to this, there may be rain in Arunachal Pradesh in the next 24 hours. Apart from this, there may be humid weather in Kerala. Today and tomorrow, the effect of wind and rain can be seen in this area. Tomorrow, some areas of Bihar may receive light rain.

Currency drops in Rajasthan due to strong winds

According to the IMD, the temperature may drop due to strong winds. The Indian Meteorological Department estimates that the maximum and minimum temperatures may fall by two to four degrees Celsius in the coming one or two days. According to the department, the temperature in Rajasthan may increase again from March 7-8. According to the IMD, in the last 24 hours, the highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded at 34.6 degrees Celsius in Chittorgarh and the lowest minimum temperature was recorded at 10.6 degrees Celsius in Sangaria.

Temperature drops due to strong winds

The period of strong winds is continuing in Rajasthan as well. Due to strong northern winds, a drop in night temperature has been recorded in many areas. In the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature in Fatehpur, Sikar was recorded at 4 degrees Celsius. In many areas, the minimum temperature again reached around 5 degrees Celsius. According to the report, Nagaur and Sikar recorded a temperature of 5.6 degrees Celsius.

How will the weather be across the country in the next 24 hours?

According to a report by Skymet Weather, during the next 24 hours, strong winds will blow from the northwest direction in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Rajasthan, Gujarat and North Maharashtra. Light to moderate rain may occur in eastern Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. There is a possibility of light rain at some places in Lakshadweep and Kerala. In the next 24 hours, the maximum temperature in Rajasthan and Gujarat may decrease further.
