According to the IMD, a rain alert has been issued for heavy rains in Assam and Meghalaya till February 14. Rain is expected here for the next 48 hours. An alert has been issued for heavy rains in many states of the North East.

A dense fog alert has been issued in Sikkim and Darjeeling. Rain is also expected at many places in Tripura and Puducherry. Along with this, rain is expected with thunderstorms in Arunachal Pradesh.

Strong winds will blow in UP

According to the IMD, the air level remained high even late at night in the eastern and western divisions of Uttar Pradesh. There was a drop in temperature in Delhi, due to which people felt cold. Right now, the cold phase may continue in the morning and evening in UP.

How was the weather in Delhi?

According to IMD, the temperature level is increasing in the capital Delhi. On Wednesday, Delhi remained hot for the second consecutive day. Strong winds are expected to blow in Delhi for the next two days. It is expected that Delhi will experience intense heat as soon as the winds stop. Delhi winds will start at a speed of 8 to 12 kmph and it is expected to increase to 30 kmph during the day.
