Raj Kundra Porn Film Case: In February 2021, Mumbai Crime Branch busted a big pornography racket, in which 11 people including Raj Kundra’s former PA Umesh Kamat and model actress Gehana Vashist were arrested.
New Delhi. Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra (Raj Kundra Arrested) has been arrested by the property cell of Mumbai Crime Branch on Monday night. There are allegations against him of being involved in the production of porn films. The police had said they had “enough evidence” against Kundra. Rejecting all the allegations, Raj Kundra has sought anticipatory bail. Apart from him, a person named Ryan John Tharpe was also arrested from Nerul in the case. Police investigation has revealed that this network of pornographic films was operated from Britain. It also includes a relative of Kundra.
What was the matter
The case of making porn films and publishing them on different apps came to the fore in February this year. A complaint was lodged with the Mumbai Crime Branch regarding this. After this, the Crime Branch, taking action, busted a big racket related to pornography, in which 11 people including Raj Kundra’s former PA Umesh Kamat and model actress Gehana Vashist were arrested. It is reported that only after the arrest of Kamat, the police got evidence against Kundra.
Raj Kundra is also a business partner!
According to information received from Crime Branch sources, a relative of Kundra used to run a company named Kenrin Productions in London. Kundra is the owner and investor of this company. Actually, this company gives contracts to many agents to produce pornographic films and also funds them. A WhatsApp chat has also been put in the hands of the police, in which Kundra is actively seeking business information.

Mumbai Crime Branch had shared information about Kundra’s WhatsApp chat in the first chargesheet of the pornography case. He had created a group named ‘H Accounts’. Through this group, many important things related to business were done including daily earnings, payment to the model. There were a total of five people in this group and Kundra was its admin.
How business used to be
a production company named Kenrin, running in Britain, sending videos to the app. In India, Kamat was the representative of this company and looked after all the work related to it. Model Gehana and Kamat, who were arrested in February, used to get the work of making pornographic films only from Kenrin Productions.
After getting the advance payment, both of them used to get involved in the production of the film and send it to the company through email. After this process, the payment used to reach the account of the people associated with the film. Finally the film was uploaded on the app. During the investigation in the same pornography case, the Crime Branch also came to know that Kenrin Production House is doing this business of pornography and funding pornography through different agents across the country.

the language, said Mumbai police commissioner said in a statement after the case was registered under the Indian Penal Code provisions dealing and Information Technology Act against Kundra and arrested the crime branch Kundra. He said that he appears to be the main conspirator in the case. At present, the police is investigating the matter. If the charges are proved in the court, he may have to pay a fine of lakhs of rupees. Also they can be sent to jail.
