There is good news for the employees of Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam of Uttarakhand. The corporation has given a big gift to the employees before Rakshabandhan. The corporation has increased the dearness allowance of regular employees by 3%, after which now these employees will get the benefit of 34 percent dearness allowance. An order has been issued in this regard by the Managing Director of the Corporation.

According to media reports, the regular employees of Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam / KMVN will now get the benefit of 34% dearness allowance instead of 31%. The order has been issued by the Managing Director of the Corporation. This will come into effect from July 1, 2022, so arrears of 2 months will also be available. About four and a half hundred regular employees will be benefited by this order of the corporation. The same corporation administration has deposited one crore 20 lakh gratuity in August.


According to media reports, this time the corporation has got a benefit of 8 crore 26 lakhs. The corporation released 74 lakhs to the employees under 6th Pay Commission in 2020-21 January. Earlier, 60 lakh of gratuity in March, 2 crore 85 lakh of gratuity in 2022-23, 63 lakh arrears of sixth pay scale, in addition to 3 percent in January 2022 and then again in April by 3 percent dearness allowance has been increased. In April itself, the honorarium of contract employees was increased from Rs 800 to Rs 1200.

Let us inform that in the past, the Uttarakhand government had approved the payment of dearness allowance of employees working in public bodies, undertakings from January 1, 2022, at the rate of 34% in DA (Seventh Revised Pay Scale) from July. The dearness allowance of the employees has been increased to 34 percent instead of 31 percent, although the formal approval will be from the next meeting of the board of directors of the corporation, in such a situation an order of 34 percent dearness allowance has been issued.
