- For address proof
- To make any document.
Who cannot avail the benefit of ration card:-
- If you have things like car, ac and tractor
- If your house is more than 100 square meters and you have 5 acres of land
- If the annual income of a person living in rural area is more than 2 lakhs, while the annual income of a person living in urban area is more than 3 lakhs
- People who are fully affluent.
Have to surrender
If you are not eligible for the ration card, and still you have got it made wrongly, then in such a situation you will have to surrender it. You can surrender it by visiting the ration dealer or ration card office.
May be fined
If you have got the ration card made in a wrong way, and you are not even surrendering it, then action can be taken against such people and fine can be imposed.
