Free Ration: Free ration available to Indian citizens will now be available only under strict eligibility criteria. The government is taking strict action against the families who are out of eligibility.
Along with the provision of strict punishment, fine is also being collected. The recovery of ration taken so far is also being done at the rate of Rs.27 per kg. You should surrender the ration card from now to avoid administrative action. The government criteria for eligibility is also available on the official website. Due to the influence, ineligible families are taking ration and the eligible are deprived. At present, the central and state government is giving free ration at the rate of Rs.2 a kg. More facilities are given in yellow ration card.

But now the government wants ineligible people to be excluded from this scheme. For this, the government is giving the last opportunity to all those people to surrender their ration card. If anyone does not surrender the ration card despite being ineligible, then legal action will be taken against them and payment will also be recovered in lieu of the ration given to them.
