Actually the rules have been changed by the central government. If seen after this, then the beneficiaries can get food grains. Necessary rules have been fixed in this regard. It is often being said that ration quoted people had started getting work ration many times. After which now electronic POS (EPOS) has been made mandatory in ration shops.
In fact, the Central Government has informed that it is necessary to be transparent by the shopkeepers while taking ration and important steps have been taken to stop rationing. At the same time, this step will benefit the beneficiaries.
According to the information, according to the Public Distribution System, an attempt has been made to take the process further under Section 12 of the Act by way of improving the transparency of the Council.
For which according to the Food Security Act, the government is providing 5 kg wheat and rice to 80 crore people in the country every month at a concessional rate of ₹ 2-3 per kg. Now under the new rule, ration distribution is going to happen through electronic POS equipment.
In order to encourage this, rule 7 of sub-rule 2 of Promoting Food Security 2015 has been amended with a view to saving from additional profit of ₹ 70 per quintal. The central government starts getting another big instruction to the state government. Actually, according to some conditions, if you are also going to use the ration card, then it is going to be heavy for you.
At the same time, if seen eligible for the scheme, many cardholders have not started getting its benefits. In such a situation, the ineligible people have been advised to surrender the ration card immediately through the officials. If any ineligible person is not going to surrender the ration card, then there is a provision to take legal action against him after investigation.
