Free ration yojana- If Kotedar, who is also called depot holder at some places, is not giving you free ration or demands more money from you, then you can complain about it. You can complain sitting at home, on which immediate action will be taken.


new Delhi. The Center has decided to provide free ration for the next one year i.e. till December 2023 to the people covered under the National Food Security Act. In 2020, the government started the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana) to provide free food grains to the poor. The beneficiaries of this scheme are given free 5 kg food grains per person per month. This food grain is being distributed through ration depots. Complaints are also being received about irregularities in ration distribution by depot holders or quota holders.

If the Kotedar is not giving you ration or is charging more money or is doing any other scam regarding ration, then you can complain about it. Complaint can also be made online. Along with this, complaints are also being registered through toll free numbers. Toll free numbers are different for each state.

online If you want to complain online, you can complain by visiting the National Food Security Portal https://nfsa.gov.in/. To make a complaint, you have to click on the Citizen Corner on the right side corner of the site. A list will open. Click on Online Grievance at the bottom of the list. After clicking on it, the list of states will open. Click on the state in which you live.

Suppose you are a resident of Haryana, then you will reach the website of Haryana Government. Here click on ‘Lodge Online Grievance’. A form will open. Fill it and submit it. Your complaint will be registered. You can also check the status of your complaint on the site itself.
