PIB has fact checked this viral post. PIB Fact Check said, the claim of further extending the facility of exchange of old Rs 500-1000 notes for foreign citizens is fake.

Tweeting about this claim which is going viral on social media, he said that the facility to exchange Indian demonetized currency notes for foreign citizens has ended in 2017. No such order has been issued regarding exchange of 500 and 1000 rupee notes.
