Let us tell you that on the occasion of Buddha Purnima, banks will remain closed. According to RBI’s notification, today banks will not work in Agartala, Aizawl, Belapur, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Jammu, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla and Srinagar.
Banks will remain closed across the country even on May 7.
After May 5, due to Sunday on May 7, there will be no work in banks across the country. So now you can go to the bank on Monday i.e. 8th May and finish your work. Along with this, you can take advantage of the online facility even on holidays.
