This is how cheating happens
Cyber criminals obtain a number similar to (800 123 1234) toll free number 1800 123 1234 (this is not a real number) of a bank or financial company to commit fraud. After which the accused register this number on the caller or any other application in the name of the bank or financial company. In such a situation, if you call on a bank or financial company with the help of Truecaller, then many times this phone goes to the cyber criminal and they get all your information from you and commit cyber crime.
Avoid this type of fraud
If you are going to call any bank or financial company, then you should have complete information about its troll free number. At the same time, never share all your information on any bank’s toll free number.
